Christmas charity knitting

AKA hats take over my life.

Last October I decided to make a number of hats for Meals on Wheels, where I volunteer. I didn't really ponder exactly how much I'd be taking on with this....the project reached fairly epic proportions. I started knitting hats and I just couldn't stop. I knit my way through October to November and then two weeks into December before I finally had to take a deep breath and forcibly put down the needles. I ended up with something like thirty hats. THIRTY. HATS. I don't think I've ever knit that many hats before - ever in my life. The clients in the program were really grateful, but I think I went a little overboard on it. Oh well.

The beginning - in early November.
A rather striking rainbow concoction.
The cats help with the knitting.
